About Chaele

Chaele Cooper is a certified Classical Pilates Instructor whose enthusiasm for health, well being and physical fitness is boundless. Chaele discovered the transformative effects of physical activity, nutrition and meditation in her teens and has been passionately exploring the connection between body, mind and soul ever since.  In addition to having studied Shiatsu massage, Ayruveda, EFT (“Tapping”) and nutrition, Chaele is an avid athlete who enjoys spinning, hiking, biking, yoga, kickboxing, weight lifting and surfing in warm water. Chaele discovered Pilates after a few too many bruises and broken bones and found that nothing had ever fed her soul or felt as intrinsically and intuitively “right” as Pilates. Immediately, the practice enhanced her other activities by giving her body and mind increased strength and awareness.

Pilates’ profound impact and a long time desire to make health and well being the focus of her professional life, led Chaele to Jill Cassady, Romana Kryzanowska-trained master teacher and founder of Pilates Technique which has been certifying Pilates Instructors in the Classical method since 1995.  Chaele completed the intensive year-long, 600+ hour curriculum and apprenticeship which included training in pregnancy, injury and athletics. In 2014 Chaele was honored to accept an invitation to participate in the incomparable Kathi Ross-Nash's inaugural Professional Pilates Advanced Teacher Training Program. Along with nine other professional Pilates professionals from around the world, Chaele completed the year-long program that deepened her understanding of the complexity and more importantly, the simplicity of the Pilates method and how to best use the repertoire of exercises to help and challenge her clients.  Committed to life long learning, Chaele regularly attends seminars and workshops and has studied with Jay Grimes, Mari Windsor, Karen Frischman, Chris Robinson, Blossom Leilani Crawford and many others.

Chaele incorporates her experience as an athlete and fitness enthusiast with her infinite energy, humor and patience, to design workouts that make her clients’ goals a reality and their lives that much better.
